Houston Tango Festival Updates

Dear dancer,

Thank you very much for attending the Houston Tango Festival! We enjoyed hosting you, dancing with you and appreciated all your compliments, suggestions, enthusiasm and encouragement. Together we managed to create some magical moments on the dance floor and new friendships between tango communities were forged.

We want to thank our superb teachers and DJs, the amazing GloverTango Orquestra, our helpful and friendly volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and local Houstonians who hosted out-of-town dancers. Those of you who came from out of town--thank you for inspiring our dancers! Those of you from Houston--thank you for your amazing hospitality and support!

The second annual Houston Tango Festival will take place on January 22 - 25, 2009. We hope to see all of you there. Meanwhile, you can see some of the photos from this year's festival here:

Kudos to the Houston Tango Festival Team!!!

The team produced a world-class festival - a great achievement considering the natural unknowns associated with a first-time event of this kind.

The organization was top notch and the attention to detail was superb.  The energy and good vibes were everywhere and everyone had a great time.
